   • Navigating the SAP PP module and exploring its user interface.

2. Demand Management:

   • Understanding the demand management process, including sales and operations planning, demand forecasting, and demand-driven MRP.

   • Creating demand plans and maintaining demand data in SAP PP.

   • Collaborating with other departments to align production plans with customer demand.

3. Master Production Scheduling (MPS):

   • Managing the master production schedule, including creating and maintaining planned independent requirements.

   • Understanding the planning time fence and adjusting the MPS to match production capacity and material availability.

   • Integrating the MPS with material requirements planning (MRP) and shop floor control.

4. Material Requirements Planning (MRP):

   • Configuring MRP parameters, such as planning strategies, lot sizing procedures, and planning horizons.

   • Running MRP, analyzing results, and generating procurement proposals.

   • Evaluating and processing MRP exceptions, such as material shortages and excess inventory.

5. Capacity Planning:

   • Understanding capacity planning methods, including finite and infinite capacity planning.

   • Creating and managing work centers, capacities, and production resources/tools in SAP PP.

   • Performing capacity leveling and evaluating capacity utilization.

6. Shop Floor Control:

   • Executing shop floor activities, including production order creation, release, and confirmation.

   • Monitoring and controlling production progress, including goods receipt and goods issues.

   • Handling deviations, scrap, rework, and quality control on the shop floor.

7. Production Costing:

   • Understanding the production costing process, including cost estimation, variance analysis, and activity-based costing.

   • Integrating production costs with financial accounting and controlling modules (FICO) in SAP PP.

8. Integration with Other SAP Modules:

   • Integration points between SAP PP and other modules like MM, FICO, and Quality Management (QM).

   • Interactions and data flow between modules during various production processes.

   • Understanding the impact of PP processes on other functional areas.

9. Advanced Topics:

   • Variant configuration and product variants management.

   • Routing and work center hierarchies.

   • Production analytics and reporting using SAP PP.

2. Work Experience:

   • No specific work experience is required for the SAP PP course. However, prior experience in production planning, manufacturing, or related areas can be beneficial.

3. Basic Computer Skills:

   • Proficiency in using computers and familiarity with business applications is necessary.

   • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is preferred.
